~ a hot plate to bring it to a boil... ~ maintain a tank of cool/cold water... ~ 1 pump in tank to circulate water... ~ all tubing to connect pump to condenser and return. ~ collection vessel for distilled water from condenser. |

Boiling, chemical disinfection and steam-distillation kills micro-organisms.

Chemical disinfection does not necessarily kill spores or cysts.
Prolonged boiling and steam-distillation will kill cysts and spores. |

Disinfection and boiling don't remove dead microorganisms or endotoxins created by
dead microorganisms. Steaming distillation does remove these. |

Disinfection does not remove toxins. Boiling actually concentrates toxins that are present.
Steam-distillation is extremely effective at removing virtually all toxins. |
